My mum
always tells me how important it is to take care of my skin, but it isn’t until
recent years that I really start to listen. I have started noticing fine lines under my eyes, bigger eye bags, uneven skin tone on my forehead and even darker
freckles along my left cheek, which kind of freak me out a little.
While
many may think that my skin is still looking fine for the age of 25, (well it
may be) but I know if I don’t start taking proper care for it now, it is definitely going to be downhill from here.
Therefore,
one of my 2017’s resolutions is to focus on my skin. In attempts to solve all
my skin woes, I have decided to book my first consultation with DRx. I am very
picky when it comes to choosing a dermatologist, after reading so many good reviews
about DRx online, I am quite convinced that they will be able to deliver good
service and results.
2
weeks ago, I met Dr. Lazwani who was appointed to be my doctor. She was very
professional and friendly, I felt comfortable in asking her many questions. She
examined my skin conditions and prescribed me with 8-step Derma-Rx skincare
products. According to her analysis, my
skin is slightly dull and the hyperpigmentation issue is quite bad.
Once
the consultation session was over, Beatrice (the consultant) ushered me to a
room. She patiently explained and wrote down all 8-step products in details on
a user guide in case I forget when and where to apply.
I
have been using Derma-Rx products solely for about 2 weeks now, I am not
expecting significant changes overnight but I love how great my skin feels
whenever I apply these products. I
especially love their hydrator and sunscreen!
I am also scheduled for a few sessions
of Q-Switched Laser Treatment as suggested by Dr.Lazwani, can’t wait to be back
and bid those freckles goodbye!

This year, I spent a few days in Hanoi with Abner's
family during the Chinese New Year. We booked
family during the Chinese New Year. We booked
a 5D4N ground tour arrangement through a local
agency. Personally, I am not a fan of package tours
because of the tight schedule, early mornings and
limited places to visit. However, if you are travelling
with elderly people, I strongly suggest you to just go
for package tours to save the hassle. You wouldn't
want them to wander around lost for hours
just to search for that one place.
I have been to Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) twice,
hence I have pretty much expected how this city
is going to be like - swarms of motorbikes and
people sitting on their tiny stools! The one place
that I was really looking forward to was the
Halong Bay, a trip to Hanoi is not complete
without visiting it they say.
